It was once home to the conqueror Hernán Cortés and the birthplace of his son. In modern times, it became a haven for renowned artists such as Frida Kahlo who lived and created all of her art in this place. OVERVIEW

This is a private and personalized tour only for you and your love ones. The total duration is 4 hours and taking the transfers time. This tour includes private transport, pick up and drop off at your address in Mexico city, your tourist guide/driver, 1 traditional ice cream or churros per person, 1 bottle of water and 1 bag of snacks per person. After 4 people the vehicle is a new van with air conditioner.

PICK UP TIME :

AT YOUR ADDRESS IN MEXICO CITY

Your guide will contact you before pick up time. The pick up will be at your accommodation address. You can choose the pick up time from 10 am to 5 pm. Our recommendation is 10 or 11 am.

TRANSFER TIME :

ON OUR WAY TO COYOACAN

Usually it takes 30 minutes early in the morning from the central touristic areas. If your pick up is afternoon it can take more time due to traffic.

TOUR TIME :

2 HOURS VISITING

The full visit includes a tour through downtown Coyoacán, the central park, and the Church of San Juan Bautista. We’ll also see the Frida Kahlo House from the outside, the Hernán Cortés residence from the outside, Frida Kahlo’s gardens, the Chapel of La Conchita. During the tour, we’ll visit one of Coyoacán’s traditional ice cream shops, where you’ll get to try a artisinal ice cream or, if you prefer, some churros.

Additionally, the visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum/House can be requested. To include this visit, it is necessary to contact us in advance minimun two weeks before for the reservation, and an extra charge applies.

If you want We can have time for lunch or breakfast (add extra time with extra cost $40 usd per group) or take time of our tour time.

What type of vehicle this tour?

At this moment We are a small growing agency. Our agency has 1 new vehicle 2025 + 3 new vans 2024. So when the tour is from 1-3 people the vehicle is a car (it can be our new vehicle or the vehicle of your guide). We use a van or minivan after 4 people.

Have the guides a certification?

Our team is made by local guides, lovers of our culture and destinations. They have a lot of experience in our tours: driving & the story. OF COURSE SOMETIMES WE WORK WITH CERTIFICATE GUIDES. WHEN THE CUSTOMER REQUEST FOR A CERTIFICATE GUIDE WE CAN DO IT (WITH EXTRA COST)

Is my guide the same driver?

Usually if the tour is for 1 to 3 people the guide is the same driver. After 4 people We use a van with 10/13 seats or minivan for 7 passengers. Usually in minivan is the same guide the driver.
