The rainy season in the Desierto de los Leones and the western part of Mexico City runs from May to October, with its most intense period (the peak of rainfall) occurring during the months of June, July, and August.

This is a private and personalized hike only for you and your love ones. The total duration is 6 hours and taking the transfers time. You walk through a dense forest of sacred firs, pines, and oaks, with lush areas abounding in mist, streams, and a forest floor of damp earth or leaf litter. Altitude: 9710 ft – 10368 ft

The round route between the starting point, the ex convent and the Cruz Blanca area covers a distance of approximately 8 kilometers and is considered to be of moderate difficulty hike

How is the round trip? SAME WAY TO GO UP AND GO DOWN.

We start at the parking area at 9710 ft. Next to this point We can finf the 17th centuries ex former convent.

Our goal will be to reach the area known as Cruz Blanca at 10368 ft In the vicinity of Cruz Blanca, you can find rest areas, small streams with wooden bridges, viewpoints, and local food stalls (offering snacks like antojitos and quesadillas) that are popular with visitors on weekends.

We can take our lunch here or in any moment you decide.

Yes. A private hike only for you and your special people. At this moment We don’t have groupal tours.

-What type of vehicle?

At this moment We are a small growing agency. Our agency has 1 new vehicle 2026+ 3 new vans 2024. So when the tour is from 1-3 people the vehicle is a sedan car (it can be our new vehicle or the vehicle of your guide). We use a van or minivan after 4 adults and vans after 5 adults.

-Is My guide the same driver?

Usually if the tour is for 1 to 3 people the guide is the same driver. After 4 people We use a van with 10/13 seats or minivan for 7 passsengers. Usually in minivan is the same guide the driver.

-Have the guides a certification?

Our team is made by local guides, lovers of adventure and destinations. They have a lot of experience in our tours: driving & the hikes. OF COURSE SOMETIMES WE WORK WITH CERTIFICATE GUIDES. WHEN THE CUSTOMER REQUEST FOR A CERTIFICATE GUIDE WE CAN DO IT (WITH EXTRA COST)
