At this moment, we are a small but growing agency. We have 2 new vehicles (2025 models) and 3 new vans (2024 models). For tours with 1 to 3 people, transportation is provided in a car — either one of our new vehicles or your guide’s car. For groups of 4 or more, we use a van or minivan.

The Iztaccíhuatl, known as the “Sleeping Woman” for its silhouette resembling a resting female figure, is Mexico’s third-highest mountain (with an altitude of approximately 17,159 ft above sea level) and a favorite among hikers and mountaineers seeking both challenge and awe-inspiring scenery. It is located approximately 2 hours from Mexico city by car. Located in the Izta-Popo National Park, its snow-capped peaks and rugged trails offer a dramatic setting for high-altitude trekking, with panoramic views of deep valleys and alpine landscapes. From various points along the ascent, climbers are rewarded with breathtaking views of the nearby Popocatépetl, an active volcano whose smoking crater often rises above a sea of clouds. Overview

This is a private and personalized hike only for you and your love ones. This hike is medium-high level of difficulty, the walking until the thrid stop at 14830 ft (regular physical condition) is 2 hours and another 2 hours to descend. This hike is around 4.5 kilometers (14,764 ft) in ascent every step. The total duration is 8 hours and taking the transfers time. The best season for this hike is october-february. Every year in spring this mountain has some fires and for that reason the national park is closed. This hike includes private transport, pick up and drop off at your address in Mexico city, your mountain guide/driver, rental of poles, 1 protein bar per person, 1 bottle of water and 1 bag of snacks per person. After 4 people the vehicle is a new van with air conditioner.

TRANSFER TIME :

ON OUR WAY TO NATIONAL PARK IZTACCIHUATL

Usually it takes 2 hour early in the morning from the central touristic areas.

ARRIVAL AT :

NATIONAL PARK IZTACCIHUATL

Our first stop is in the area called Paso de Cortés, just between Iztaccíhuatl and Popocateptl. Here the guide do the register in the administrative office and pay the Access to the way to last parking area. Here We are at 11,483 ft and We take beautiful photos with every mountain behind us.

TOUR TIME :

4.5 HOURS OF HIKE

The full hike is 4.5 hours starting from la Joya (14,754.4 ft) until the third stop (ther ankles of the woman mountain) at 14830 ft. In case you start to feel bad or you cannot to go more up, the guide can decide go slower or start the return. The ending of this hike is on the starting point.

If you want We can have time for lunch or breakfast (add extra time with extra cost $40 usd per group) or take time of our tour time.

DROP OFF AT :

The drop off will be at your address or any other place in Mexico city. If the place is far away it can generates extra cost.
