Basilica of Guadalupe Private Tour with Transport

The Basilica of Guadalupe is one of the most important religious sites in Mexico and Latin America. Located in northern Mexico City, it is dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, the Main patron saint of Mexico. According to tradition, the Virgin appeared to Juan Diego in 1531, and her image was miraculously imprinted on his cloak, which is now exposed in the New basilica (1976) behind the principal altar. Every year, millions of pilgrims from all the world visit the site to pay tribute, especially on December 12th, the Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe. The religious complex includesthe Old Basilica from 1709, The New Basilica, the first Chapel, the Chapel on the top of the Hill and some other catholic buildings devoted to Guadalupe.

This is a private and personalized tour only for you and your love ones. The total duration is 4 hours and taking the transfers time. This tour includes private transport, pick up and drop off at your address in Mexico city, your tourist guide/driver, 1 bottle of water and 1 little bag of snacks per person. PICK UP TIME :

AT YOUR ADDRESS IN MEXICO CITY

Your guide will contact you before pick up time. The pick up will be at your accommodation address. You can choose the pick up time from 7 am to 3 pm. Our recommendation is 9 or 10 am.

TRANSFER TIME :

ON OUR WAY TO BASILICA

Usually it takes 30 minutes early in the morning from the central touristic areas. If your pick up is afternoon it can take more time due to traffic.

Starting of our tour. We like to start the tour visiitng the new Basilica like an introduction about the history of the miracle.

The full visit of the religious complex is: New Basilica, Old Basilica, the first chapel where was located for first time the Tilma, The garden area where is located the beautiful and big sculpture ¨THE OFFERING¨, The temple of the little well and of course The chapel of the Hill or known as The chapel of the roses where the Virgin of Guadalupe appears to Saint Juan Diego in 1531. (IN CASE YOU CANNOT TO WALK TO MUCH THE VISIT WILL BE SHORTER ON TIME OR VISIT JUST SOME BUILDINGS)

At this moment We are a small growing agency. Our agency has 1 new vehicle 2025 + 3 new vans 2024. So when the tour is from 1-3 people the vehicle is a car (it can be our new vehicle or the vehicle of your guide). We use a van or minivan after 4 people.

Is my guide the same driver?

Usually if the tour is for 1 to 3 people the guide is the same driver. After 4 people We use a van with 10/13 seats or minivan for 7 passengers. Usually in minivan is the same guide the driver.
